Eddison Park

Blue Tees (Public Layout)

The new Eddison Park course is now fully playable! The course now has 10 new baskets making for an 18 basket layout and includes a practice basket. The new layout includes turf teepads, marked 10m circles and full signage. The start of the course now plays from the main parking area adjacent to the skatepark although you can still start from the cemetery parking lot which is now hole 9. Here is the new layout:

The locally made custom baskets at Eddison park have been in the ground for over 20 years now and was the 3rd basket installation in Australia. The park has seen some significant changes over the years including the addition of the skate park, upgraded path networks, fitness equipment installations,  and the possible loss of half of the course due to the cemetery expanding.  All of these changes have impacted the course into various iterations. After a successful 2019 Capital Assistance Program grant from ACT Sports and Recreation, the ACT Disc Golf Club was able to upgrade the course into a moderate 18 hole layout that we are super happy with. The first 8 holes are completely new and the back part of the course contains many of Eddison’s classic holes (or modified to play in a similar way) such as 10, 11, 13, 14, 17 & 18. We hope that you like the new course!

Gold Tees 1.0

There has been a new harder/longer layout that has been designed and put in place at Eddison Park. It follows the same layout as the Blue tees/public layout just a longer/harder variation of each hole. Check it out on Udisc and download the caddy book below to see how each hole plays. The tees are currently marked with paint but will have gold markers soon. This layout will be played for the second round of the 2022 Spring Sling.

Gold Tee 1.0 Caddy Book

Udisc is an awesome app for disc golf where you can keep score and also use to navigate the course. It keeps stats of your rounds and with a pro subscription it can sync scorecards between friends!

If you are a beginner or new to the sport, we would highly recommend playing the front 10 holes of the course as the back 8 holes are longer and more challenging. If you’re feeling up for it, then play the rest of the course!

Classic Layouts (Redundant)

The older layouts can be found at the below google maps links and are marked on the ground with white or gold markers. Note that five of the original baskets were moved to new locations so, the older layouts cannot be played in their entirety. However, we still have the ability to move these baskets into their older positions to allow playing the old layouts on special occasions in the future.
